What is the most popular and most natural lash treatment?
Definitely 2D or 3D Russian lashes. By applying and fanning out 2 or 3 synthetic lashes to one of your natural lashes, much thinner and lighter lashes can be used while still creating volume. Using thinner and lighter lashes means your natural lash remains healthier and your set of eyelash extensions will also last longer.

What are Eyelash Extensions?
Eyelash extensions are single vegan/ synthetic/ man-made lashes and are placed one by one directly onto your own isolated lash. The lashes are waterproof and available in different lengths and curls to create the desired effect. There is no direct skin contact. The lashes will make a difference in the way you look and feel about yourself, also saving you valuable time applying makeup and you will never have to use mascara again! Extensions will add fullness and will open your eyes. They will give you a completely natural (though enhanced) look, or something that makes you stand out from the crowd, the choice is completely up to you.

What is the process and is it painful?
Definitely not painful, you may even fall asleep. Before starting we will discuss what look you are after, we will then recommend what we think is the best length and curl to suit your needs, but ultimately the choice is yours. The initial application will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the chosen volume. There is nothing else you have to do except relax and keep your eyes closed. It is totally painless. When you open your eyes, you will have thicker and luscious lashes.

How long will they last for?
The short answer: 5-6 weeks depending on your lash cycle with infills needed every 2-3.5 weeks.
Your own lashes will shed naturally and new ones continue to grow in a replenishing cycle. We naturally shed 4-10 lashes every day from each eye in a 2week period. The lash extensions will last as long as the cycle of your natural lash. Meaning every time one of your natural lash shed it will take one of our extensions with it. Touch-ups are recommended, but not always needed, every 2-3.5 weeks depending on your individual needs. (you must still have 50% of your lashes remaining for it to be counted as a touch up). Your aftercare will affect how long your lashes last.

Can I still wear make-up?
Absolutely! You can continue to wear make-up but you will find that you no longer need to use mascara. Any mascaras even waterproof mascara is not recommended on lashes. If you use makeup it is important to use an oil-free makeup and removers. We also carry a range of after care products specifically made for eyelash extensions.

Can I shower and swim while wearing Eyelash Extensions?
Yes, extensions are waterproof BUT you should avoid direct contact with water for the first 24hrs around the eye area. If possible, avoid direct contact with the jets of the shower on the lashes and wear goggles when swimming for the extensions to last longer. Gently pat them dry when they get wet.

What are lash infills and why do I need them?
We recommend infills between 2-3.5 weeks because you will start seeing small gaps where the old lashes have fallen out and new baby lashes start coming through. During an infill appointment we will remove any lashes that have grown out, twisted or moved and replace them with a new lash. Top ups should generally be done within 4 weeks, otherwise there may be too much growth to remove and replace. We will recommend a new set if this is the case.

Can I use an eyelash serum along side extensions?
Only certain lash growth serums can be used while wearing lash extensions. Revitalash is one that is known to us which won’t affect the retention of your extensions. We are unsure of any others so please be careful with other brand.
