FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the most popular and natural-looking lash treatment?
One of the most popular and natural-looking lash treatments is light and medium volume lash extensions. This technique involves applying multiple ultra-fine, lightweight lashes to each of your natural lashes. Because the extensions used are thinner and lighter, they create soft, natural volume without overloading your natural lashes, promoting better lash health and improved retention.

What are Eyelash Extensions?
Eyelash extensions are individual (vegan-friendly) lashes that are meticulously applied one by one to your natural lashes. There’s no contact with the skin, and the lashes come in various lengths and curls to achieve anything from a subtle enhancement to a bold, glamorous look. They’re waterproof, smudge-proof, and eliminate the need for mascara, saving you time while giving your eyes a more defined and lifted appearance.

What is the process like? Is it painful?
Not at all. It’s completely pain-free, and many clients even fall asleep during the treatment!
We’ll begin with a consultation to understand your desired look and recommend the best lash length, curl, and volume to suit your eyes and lifestyle. The application takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the style and volume you choose. All you have to do is lie back, relax, and keep your eyes closed. When the session is done, you’ll wake up to beautiful, full lashes.

How long do eyelash extensions last?
Lash extensions typically last 5–6 weeks, following your natural lash growth cycle. However, to keep them looking full and fresh, infills are recommended every 2 to 3.5 weeks.
We naturally shed 6–10 lashes every day, and since each extension is attached to an individual lash, they fall out together. To maintain a full look, make sure to book regular touch-ups and follow the recommended aftercare. (Please note: you must have at least 50% of your lashes remaining for it to count as an infill.)

Can I still wear makeup?
Yes! You can continue to wear makeup, though most clients find they don’t need mascara at all. Avoid using mascara, especially waterproof formulas, as they can damage the extensions and affect retention. When wearing other makeup, always use oil-free products and removers. We also offer a curated range of aftercare products designed specifically for lash extension wearers.

Can I shower or swim with lash extensions?
Absolutely. Eyelash extensions are waterproof, but we recommend avoiding water around the eye area for the first 24 hours after application. After that, feel free to shower and swim, but try to avoid direct water pressure on your lashes and wear goggles when swimming for extra protection. Gently blow-dry them, using your spoolie brush, after getting them wet. No rubbing!

What are infills and why are they necessary?
Infills are essential to maintain your lash look as your natural lashes shed and grow. Around the 2 to 3.5 week mark, you may notice gaps where old lashes have fallen and new ones are growing in.
During your infill appointment, we remove grown-out or twisted lashes and apply fresh extensions to new growth. If too much time has passed or the shedding is significant, we may recommend a new full set instead of an infill.

Can I use an eyelash growth serum with extensions?
Yes, but only certain serums are safe to use with lash extensions. UK Lash, Lilash, RevitaLash are known to be safe on eyelash extensions and won’t affect retention. Other brands may contain oils or ingredients that could break down the adhesive, so please consult with us before using any new product.

How do I care for my eyelash extensions?
Aftercare: To ensure your eyelash extensions last as long as possible and remain in excellent condition, please follow these care instructions:
• Keep lashes dry for the first 24 hours after application.
• Avoid hot steam, saunas, and facials for at least 48 hours.
• Do not allow direct water pressure on your lashes while showering.
• Avoid rubbing, touching, or playing with your lashes and eyes.
• Only use water-based eye makeup removers, never anything oil-based.
• Do not perm or tint your lash extensions.
• Avoid using mechanical eyelash curlers, as they can damage both extensions and natural lashes.
• Never pull or tug on your extensions, as this may cause premature lash loss.
• Gently brush the tips of your lashes with a clean spoolie when necessary; avoid brushing from the root.
• When removing makeup, use a cotton bud in an upward motion along the eyelid, avoiding contact with the extensions.
• Avoid oily products, rich creams, and heavy concealers around the eye area.
• Use only lash extension-safe mascara and eyeliner (available for purchase at our salon). Traditional formulas usually contain oils that can break down the adhesive.
• Avoid sleeping on your face or using traditional face masks. We offer a 3D lash protection sleep mask designed to protect your lashes while you rest.
• If you wish to remove your extensions, please visit a professional. They must be safely soaked off using a special remover to avoid damage to your natural lashes.

If you get the extensions wet, gently brush them with your spoolie and use a blow dryer on them at the same time.
